Welcome to Simmply Simmental Frozen; what we at Crimson Tide Fleckvieh hope will become an annual event for us and the simmental industry. Firstly, we would like to take this opportunity to wish each and every one of you a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year! May 2019 be fi lled with pleasure and opportunity.

Over the last three years health issues have forced many changes here at Crimson Tide Fleckvieh. Having been involved in a rear end auto collision and being left with fractured vertebrae in my neck and lower back; the herd was greatly reduced and sold privately. We would like to thank Dwayann Simmentals for their purchase of a core group of genetics from Crimson Tide Fleckvieh.

Although not fully recovered; 2018 brought a renewed interest in Fleckvieh simmental on my part and I look forward to the challenge of rebuilding the herd here at Crimson Tide Fleckvieh. Having retained a select group of open and bred heifers and adding genetics from Anchor D Ranch and the Schweitzer’s herd dispersal this fall; will provide a good foundation to build on. As part of this rebuilding; we have also decided to open up the frozen inventory here at Crimson Tide Fleckvieh. We feel there is something of interest for everyone; be it from the older sires and embryo matings to some of the more recent polled and purebred genetics of today.

We welcome your participation and thank you for your involvement. For more information or assistance please feel free to contact Crimson Tide Fleckvieh, Bohrson Marketing, DLMS or Dan Skeels. Buy with confi dence and be assured we will do the utmost to provide effi cient transfer and shipping.

A special thank you to Dan Skeels, the Bohrson staff and DLMS for all your help and encouragement with Simmply Simmental Frozen. Once again a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone from Crimson Tide Fleckvieh. GOOD LUCK!

During a visit to the local mental institution, a visitor asked the administrator what criterion were used to determine whether or not a person should be institutionalized.

"Well," said the administrator. "We fill up a bathtub with water, then we give the person a bucket, a cup, and a spoon and ask them to empty the tub."

"Oh, I get it," said the visitor. "A normal person would choose the bucket because it's the biggest."

"No," replied the administrator. "A normal person would pull the plug. Would you like a bed near the windows?"
